Patrick Levine (MA Sociology, 2016)

"After graduating from ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥ with my MA in Sociology I found work as a counselor in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN). During that time, I was able to implement my sociological lens to best understand and empathize with the people I served. In my free time I continued to develop my sociological research, I made two small publications, won a student paper competition, and I was accepted into a PhD granting institution in Sociology. At present, I’m in my second semester of PhD candidacy. Looking back, I’ve many cherished memories from my time at ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥and I’m forever grateful for the pedagogy and support I received from professors there in the Department of Sociology."
