SeaTech Expansion & Seawall Replacement
Overview
·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥ (FAU) is seeking expand the SeaTech campus located in The City of Dania Beach which houses their Ocean, Mechanical and Environmental Engineering Departments. This expansion will be done on property that ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥leases from The City of Dania Beach. Gold Caliber Engineering (GCE) has been tasked with repairing the failing seawall and adding a new facility to the empty parcel of land west of the existing campus.

Community Benefit
This development will help to enhance ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥'s Ocean, Mechanical and Environmental Engineering Departments. This program will help to attract future students that are interested in these areas of engineering. Currently ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥, University of Miami, and Florida Institute of Technology are the only schools in South Florida that offers Ocean Engineering. The goal is to make ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥the premier route to a career in this field.
