FAU's Harbor Branch Annie Page, Ph.D., and collaborators at FAU’s Department of Biological Sciences, Loggerhead Marinelife Center, Inwater Research Group, and East Coast Biologists, Inc. were awarded a grant for their project Green turtle health, biotoxin exposure, and foraging ecology in Lake Worth Lagoon, Florida.

This project focuses on relating green sea turtle health to HAB-associated biotoxins in the Lake Worth Lagoon system, an urbanized waterway in south Florida.

·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥Master's student Hunter Brown, pictured here, will use data from this project for his graduate thesis work on understanding the health effects of biotoxin exposure to free-ranging green sea turtles in Florida.

This project was funded in part by a grant awarded from the Sea Turtle Grants Program. The Sea Turtle Grants Program is funded from proceeds from the sale of the Florida Sea Turtle License Plate. Learn more atÌý .
