Throughout the Summer break, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) upgraded several facilities on the ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥campuses that will enhance the learning environment for students and faculty. These upgrades included both general-use and department-specific facilities.

The following upgrades have been made to facilities on the Boca Raton, Davie, Jupiter, and Fort Lauderdale campuses:

• LL-106 Lifelong Learning Auditorium
  Upgraded the AV equipment to simplify control of the cameras, audio, signage, and computers, while providing software conference capability and live event recordings.
• CE-102 & CE-103 Classrooms for Lifelong Learning
  Installed AV equipment to provide software conferencing and the capability of combining the rooms with a single source for larger events.
• GS-118 & PS-109 Active Learning Classrooms
  Upgraded the instructor lectern with a Spectrum Media Director and installed new mobile student furniture to promote active learning.
• ED-337 Instructional Computer Lab
  Upgraded 48 student computers with Dell OptiPlex 7490 AIOs.
• EG-162 Hyflex Classroom
  Installed all new AV equipment including software conferencing with an instructor camera and ceiling microphones for the students. Ìý
• BU-201, CM-142 & UN-227 Open Computer Labs
  Installed Collaboration Stations with wired/wireless connectivity to promote group study and provide more power outlets for student laptops.
• General-Purpose Classrooms
  Upgraded general-purpose classroom with ceiling microphones to improve software conferencing.

  Added ceiling microphones and reconfigured the podium system.

  Replaced science lab projectors and reconfigured the systems for PC and laptop use
• ES-249 Psychology Lab
  Replaced the projector and 20 PCs
• General-Purpose Classrooms
  Upgraded all 41 Davie campus general-purpose classroom professor podium PCs.

• AD-122 Instructional Computer Lab
  Completely redesigned this general-purpose instructional computer classroom with new Apple machines and AV equipment. (See photos and videos of the and the )
