Comfort Olugbuyi, Ed.D.Ìý

Dr. Comfort Olugbuyi joined the ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥community in Fall 2022 as the Associate Director of eSuccess where she supports all the eSuccess programs in the Center for Learning and Student Success. Prior to joining FAU, she oversaw Disability services and Academic support initiatives as well as academic advising assistance for Palm Beach Atlantic University for over ten years. Dr. Olugbuyi earned her Doctorate in Education from Bethel University in 2021 focusing on the college perspectives of students’ taking developmental course work. Previously earned degrees included a Master of Arts in Youth and Family Services from John Brown University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Texas. Comfort is grateful to be an Owl and excited to blend over 15 years of higher education knowledge and experiences with the amazing students at ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥. When she is not on a college campus, Dr. O enjoys volunteering in her community, line dancing, and watching musicals

Stephanie T. is a graduate student at ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥pursuing her Ph.D. in experimental psychology. She initially earned a BFA in writing, literature, and publishing from Emerson College in Boston, MA, and worked as a content writer and editor for 10 years before deciding to pursue psychology. This led her to pursue a second bachelor's degree in psychology at FAU, and since then, she has developed a love for research. Currently, she participates in the ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥Neuropsychology Lab and also does her own research on chronic and posttraumatic stress. In her spare time, though, she still enjoys writing science fiction and frequently dabbles in arts and crafts to keep her hands busy. Working with students as a Peer eSuccess Coach is fun for her, as it constantly introduces her to the many facets ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥has to offer, so she hopes to keep helping students enjoy their academic career and lead them toward a path of success!

Demila C. is currently a Graduate Teaching Assistant with the CLASS eSuccess Office and is in the first semester of graduate school. She has previously worked as an elementary school T.A. and at the ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥Career Center. Her undergraduate degree was in Psychology and she is also a member of the ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥Psychology Club.

Amari N.Ìýis pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. Believing that balance is the key to success, Amari works to manage academics and extracurriculars through strong organization and effective tools. Amari enjoys connecting with students across different majors and exploring new interests, especially reading, music, crafting, crocheting, and spending time with friends.

Anja M. is a linguistics major with a certificate in ESL studies. She is working towards enrolling in a graduate program in communication sciences and disorders and participates in the ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥CHAT lab. Anja enjoys helping students implement plans to achieve their goals and recommends planning ahead to stay on top of coursework. Outside of academics, she enjoys learning new languages, watching shows, and spending time with friends.

Balquis C. is a senior pursuing a bachelor's and master's of science in data science and analytics with a minor in AI. In order to make the most out of a busy schedule, she believes it's important to always keep track of your weekly tasks and to always make time for yourself. She enjoys crocheting, weight lifting, painting, photography, and volunteering at ICNA. The mottos she lives by are that kindness goes a long way and that anything can be made possible with enough effort.

Nicholas C. is a graduate student pursuing his Master of Education in Higher Education Leadership at FAU, having previously earned his bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Studies and Communication with a minor in Leadership Studies from the university. A recognized finalist for the National Academy of Television, Arts and Sciences (NATAS) in sports reporting, Nicholas brings exceptional communication skills to his role as a Peer eSuccess Coach. Alongside his background in sports broadcasting, he runs an independent e-commerce business, an experience that has sharpened his customer service expertise and allowed him to connect with people from all walks of life. He also holds an Executive Leadership Certification from the NSLS and draws on a year of prior experience as a peer mentor at Broward College. Nicholas firmly believes that luck is when preparation meets opportunity, and he loves helping students build the habits and organization they need to seize their own success. Outside of his studies and entrepreneurial ventures, he loves staying active through swimming, soccer, and long walks. A true social butterfly, he also enjoys fine dining, traveling, and meeting new people across campus.

Rosalinda E. is pursuing dual degrees in Accounting and Finance at ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥. She is very involved serving as VP of Reporting for Beta Alpha Psi, VP of Accounting Students Association, treasurer of the University Scholars Club, a Peer Coach for the University Honors Program, and a Peer mentor in FAU’s VIP Research Program. She enjoys playing video games, watching anime, reading manga, manhua, and manhwa. Rosalinda relies on her Notes app to stay organized, using lists, reminders, and schedules to keep track of everything she needs to accomplish. Her biggest tip is to write things down as soon as you think of them, so everything stays in one place.

Paloma R. is a senior at ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥majoring in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law. She plans to attend law school and pursue a career as an attorney. Alongside her studies, Paloma works in the legal field, where she enjoys helping individuals navigate legal matters and gaining hands-on experience serving the community. She looks forward to supporting fellow students as they navigate their academic journey, develop strategies that work for them, and become more confident learners. Paloma is grateful to be part of the ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥community and the eSuccess team and is excited for the opportunity to help fellow Owls succeed throughout their academic journey.
