Use and scheduling

·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥researchers who wish to use the ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥3T MRI scanner should consult the ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥MRI Medical Director for detailed instructions.Ìý

Before obtaining IRB approval:

  1. Consult with the ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥MRI Medical Director to review the feasibility of MRI in the context of the planned study.
  2. Submit an application to the ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥MRI Committee, which will review the study, requested hours, voucher request, and other pertinent details.
  3. The ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥MRI Committee will provide the investigator with a letter detailing application approvals.
  4. Upon meeting ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥MRI safety and training requirements (contact the ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥MRI Technologist for more information), the investigator can submit the protocol to the IRB

After obtaining IRB approval:

  1. The investigator will notify the MRI staff and MRI Safety Committee of the IRB approval and that scheduling of MRI scans will be starting.
  2. The investigator can begin recruiting and screening participants for their study.
  3. The MRI Technologist will assist with scheduling. Investigators can view the MRI schedule and track MRI 3T use through the .
